With the help and guidance of long-time friend Peter Hardman, Nick was able to realise his ambition, and began to race four years ago in the BMW LMA Euro Saloon Championship, where his talent was quickly noticed as he dominated class B, Finishing runner up in the championship. He also proved his worthiness in endurance racing achieving a class win and remarkable 6th Overall in the first ever 24hrs of Silverstone racing for Duller motorsport.

In 2007 he reached a personal landmark with a Le Mans podium in the legends race with a Ferrari P3.
Nick also raced in the Belgian Touring car series achieving back to back class wins at Spa in an ex works BMW GTR. At the same time he competed in the Italian based Endurance Touring car series gaining several podiums and back to back overall wins in the prestigious Vallelunga 6hr Silver Cup of both 2006 and 2007. By 2007, although still relatively inexperienced in mileage he had showed enough promise to graduate to GT1 racing a works Aston Martin DBR9. His talent was once again rewarded gaining a podium in the 6hr Epilogue of Brno and a GT1 class win and 2nd overall in the highly competitive Vallelunga 6hr Gold cup.
