Nick was a late starter in the world of motor racing, but is quickly moving up the ranks thanks to his hard work and natural talent. After finishing his studies, Nick travelled the world, working in Africa and Eastern Europe before embarking on his love of downhill ski racing. Nick had achieved the first half of his European Instructorship qualification and was training for the final half when he sustained an injury which forced him out of competing in the sport.

Nick had always been keen on outdoor sports and go-karting, but it was only at the age of 21 that he began to think seriously about a career in racing. With the help and guidance of long-time friend Peter Hardman, Nick was able to realise his ambition, and began to race four years ago in the BMW LMA Euro Saloon Championship, where his talent was quickly noticed as he dominated class B, Finishing runner up in the championship. He also proved his worthiness in endurance racing achieving a class win and remarkable 6th Overall in the first ever 24hrs of Silverstone racing for Duller motorsport.

In 2005 Nick raced a variety of cars and showed his flexibility in racing in both historic and modern racing disciplines. He competed in the Ferrari historic Challenge and Le mans Classic, campaigning a rare 246 s Ferrari dino scoring encouraging results and gained back to back victories in the Roy Salvadori Trophy Silverstone Classic meeting with a 1957 Aston Martin DBR1 in 2006 and 2007. In 2007 he reached a personal landmark with a Le Mans podium in the legends race with a Ferrari P3.

Nick also raced in the Belgian Touring car series achieving back to back class wins at Spa in an ex works BMW GTR. At the same time he competed in the Italian based Endurance Touring car series gaining several podiums and back to back overall wins in the prestigious Vallelunga 6hr Silver Cup of both 2006 and 2007. By 2007, although still relatively inexperienced in mileage he had showed enough promise to graduate to GT1 racing a works Aston Martin DBR9. His talent was once again rewarded gaining a podium in the 6hr Epilogue of Brno and a GT1 class win and 2nd overall in the highly competitive Vallelunga 6hr Gold cup.

For the 2008 season, Nick will be racing for the newly renamed Strakka Racing (formerly EDM Motorsport) and looks set to combine a season in the Gruppo Peroni series alongside other selected endurance, sportscar and touring car races.
